His goodness

He never ceases to amaze me. Just when I think He’s outdone himself, there He goes showing off again. It’s His nature to do that. It’s His desire to bless us. It’s His heart to reward us. It’s who He is. 

When you realize that He is good and everything that being good means, then you really are able to embody who He is as a person and what His actions are created from. Because He is good, everything He does is good. Everything. There will never be a day or minute or second that He isn’t good. 

So no matter what is going on around you, He is good in the midst of it all. 

No sickness, disease, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, work issues, etc. will ever compare to His goodness. His goodness wins every time. 

It’s His goodness that ignites the flame in my heart and pushes me to continue my journey every single day.

I can feel His goodness. It’s in the very air I breathe. Sometimes it’s as if it’s so thick it takes my breath away. At other times it’s as light as a feather.

I can taste His goodness. It’s in the fruit I produce from seeking Him. It’s the most sweetest and satisfying bite yet it leaves me wanting more. More of Him. 

I see His goodness. It’s in the transformation that He brings all around me. Just like a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly, so His goodness helps my soul to grow.

I hear His goodness. It’s in the way He sings His song over me. It’s in the way He so gently corrects me and guides me on the right path.

Take a moment. Breathe it in. Do you feel that? It’s your lungs that He placed inside of your chest expanding and filling up full of His goodness. When He created you, He looked at you and was pleased. He saw that you were good. And through His creation, His very goodness formed into your DNA. You can’t help but feel and taste and see and hear His goodness.
