Thoughts from My Heart

He has MORE for you

I don't know where you are in your relationship with God but I can guarantee this; wherever you are, there is more for you in Him.

Sometimes, we can become stuck in a good thing and while that place is good for a season, it isn't meant for a lifetime. Every day, God wants to take you deeper, further, and more closer to Him so that you can look into His eyes.
Just like you spend that intimate time with that loved one, God wants to do the same with you. He so desires to go on new adventures with you. Are you ready?!

I want to encourage you today, to not settle.
Settle- to come to rest, to become satisfied with
Don't become comfortable with the mundane and just getting by with a little bit of Jesus.

Whatever is in the way of you and God, it's time to kick it to the side. Don't let fear, worry, regret, or anything else you've put your attention on get in the way any longer. Jesus so desperately desires for you to know Him. Oh how He longs to hear your voice call for Him. Nothing makes Him smile more when His sons and daughters delight in Him.
Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes.  Fix your heart on the promises of God and you will be secure,  feasting on his faithfulness. Make God the utmost delight and pleasure of your life, and he will provide for you what you desire the most. Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust him along the way you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly!
Psalm 37: 3-5

It's simple, really. He just wants to do life with you. Father God genuinely just wants to be part of it all. He wants to rejoice in the good times with you, and hold your hand and wipe your tears through the tough times. He doesn't want a piece of you. He wants it all.

Let this be your prayer today and everyday:
Teach me more about you, how you work and how you move, so that I can walk onward in your truth until everything within me brings honor to your name. With all my heart and passion I will thank you, my God! I will give glory to your name, always and forever! You love me so much and you placed your greatness upon me. You rescued me from the deepest place of darkness, and you have delivered me from a certain death.
Psalm 86:11-13

Blessings,
Joanna
