If you're on day 3 of your New Years resolution and it seems to be legit harder than you ever imagined, guess what? There's grace for that. If you "lost it" on your kids this morning, then there's grace for that too. If you feel completely and utterly overwhelmed well wouldn't you know there's grace for that too! I know, I know. So much grace. Sometimes we can almost become numb to the word grace. After all, so many people seem to overuse it as an excuse to sin or live in the moment. But that's not what I'm talking about at all.
Did you know God gives you grace because He knows that you need it to grow and become better? Yep. He knows that life won't be perfect, that stuff happens and sometimes there is nothing you could've done to prevent it. But God knows you were born for greatness because after all He created you in His image. Receive His grace. It is here to help you. Grace isn't a cop out or an excuse. It's an admittance that we are fully reliant on Jesus to help us do everything. And that rings so true for me and my life.
Grace. It's a reminder of thankfulness and gratitude. It enables me to keep pushing even when I hit road bumps. It humbles me when I choose to give it to others. So choose grace, today and everyday.
Here’s the one thing I crave from God, the one thing I seek above all else: I want the privilege of living with him every moment in his house, finding the sweet loveliness of his face, filled with awe, delighting in his glory and grace. I want to live my life so close to him that he takes pleasure in my every prayer.Psalm 27:4 The Passion Translation
P.S. This song by the Helser's will literally wreck you! So much grace
